September 29th, 2024:
Nevada County Composer's Cooperative Fall Concert
I'm excited to share the World Premier of my Piano Trio, titled What We Were Looking For, But Not What We Thought, in Grass Valley, CA. It's about a day a friend of mine and I went out climbing, but ended up getting stuck in a cave. We were able to self-rescue and get home that night, but it certainly wasn't the adventure we expected to have that day!

Nevada County Composer's Cooperative Spring Concert
This concert will featured a long-awaited world premier of Nevada City Suite for the custom, homemade organ at Trabucco Ranch! The suite featured 5 different composers, including myself, all writing new music for organ.

Jesse Haennelt's
Senior Recital
My Senior Recital at California State University Northridge included about an hour of my music in various different styles. There was a mixture of music to picture, including rescores of famous film scenes and original music for student films, and live music for small chamber ensembles.
Nevada County Composer's Cooperative Fall Concert
This concert included the World Premier of my Piano Trio, titled Backyard Burns, in Grass Valley, CA. It's about a close call with a fire right outside my house. Thank goodness the fire department showed up quick and no one was injured!

Nevada County Composer's Cooperative Fall Concert
This concert featured a World Premier of my piece, I Rate Online Dating 1 out of 5 Stars, I Do Not Recommend. It is a Piano Trio that premiered in Grass Valley, CA. It's a fun, silly piece about the frustrations of trying to navigate dating apps.
Nevada County Composer's Cooperative YIKES, Friday the 13th!
This concert featured a World Premier of my String Quartet, Blind Spots, in Grass Valley, CA. It's a self reflection about the nature of personality that came from the isolations of the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic.
Nevada County Composer's Cooperative Spring Concert
In this concert I got to revisit a String Quartet that I wrote for a competition at CSUN, where it was originally premiered. This concert was exclusively virtual due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The piece I have included is called Save the Bees, Save Ourselves.
